the kingdom protista
SOLO EXHIBITION coming January 2022
The Kingdom Protista is very colorful and diverse. It consists of both single-celled and multicellular ceramic organisms that are not animals or plants.
Those that make up this kingdom, do not have much in common besides a relatively simple organization. They can look very different from each other. Some are tiny and unicellular, and some are large and multicellular, and some are intertwined bonded together for eternity.
Their simple clay-level organization distinguishes them from anything known to humanity. There are thought to be between 60,000 and 200,000 species, and many have yet to be identified. They live in almost any environment, terrestrial or extraterrestrial. Informal names are used to describe the general characteristics of various protists. Get to know some coming October!
